Team Baseball Treats

Are you a baseball mom? Well I find myself in that role yet again. Nolan started tee ball this year, with the name Nolan it was bound to happen. Tee ball is so much fun and so cute! Sometimes tee ball is more about the treats and snacks than the game but what do you expect from 3-4 year olds. Nolan’s birthday fell on game day so we signed up to bring snacks for that game. Since it was his birthday I did a little more than just a snack. Here’s my Team Baseball Treats we served to the Cubs tee ball team.

The idea came from seeing trucks decorated for the opening day parade with paper plate baseballs. Great idea!

These are just basic white paper plates.

With a black color pencil (or Sharpie, marker, crayon…) trace another plate to draw the seam lines. I kept the plates stacked for stability.

On the black seam lines with red now draw the seams. Just make “V’s” to creat the seam. Make enough baseball paper plates to use two for each treat package.

Cut straight across about two inches down on all plates. Now put two plates together with the seam sides out and matching up the cut off portion and hot glue around the edges. Or you could staple the edges must make sure the gap between staples is small enough to hold the treats in. Now add treats. I found these cute baseball decorated treats and added a drink.

The kids enjoyed them and it helped make Nolan’s birthday game even more special. Thanks for stopping by At Home with Sweet T!!!
