Krylon Pinterest Yard Sale

This has been a fun whirlwind weekend. I was invited to join a great group of bloggers at a Krylon event as part of the #Krylon127YardSale. Krylon traveled the yard sale with Amy Devers buying items from the sales, transforming them with Krylon paint to give them new life. You can see and buy these items at the Krylon Pinterest Yard Sale starting August 10th. 127 items will be up for sale. Get it? 127 spray painted items from the 127 yard sale. Clever right?!?! The best part of this is all of the proceeds from the sale go to charity. How awesome is Krylon?!

The 127 Yard Sale is the World’s Longest Yard Sale. It happens every year in early August. This year it was August 6-9. There are sales all along the Highway 127 from Michigan all the way to Alabama. That’s a lot of deals!!! Krylon traveled starting south making stops to set up to spray paint items. I met up with them and some fun ladies/bloggers near Cincinnati. We all got to meet Amy Devers and watch her in action painting some of the items that you can find in the sale. Krylon was set up in the middle of a section of the yard sale so we all got to shop the booths. What did I find? Well, you’ll have to wait to find out!

The great folks at Krylon shared with us all of their awesome products and uses. You know I love Krylon paints. I’ve shared their Looking Glass Spray. You know my favorite Krylon color is Blue Ocean Breeze in my kitchen since I added this and this. Krylon was super sweet and let us take some paint home with us. I can’t wait to try the chalky finish and the Sea Glass spray and share that with you.  While spray painting is pretty easy, you have to have time and a space to do it.
