Teen Room Makeover Update

I guess you could say I like to keep things crazy around our house. We started work on my daughter’s room just a few days before we left for our mini-vacation to Lake Michigan. When we returned from our trip we had a few days to work before school started. It has no doubt been a crazy week at our house. I thought I’d share our progress with a Teen Room Makeover Update

In case you are asking what teen room I am talking about updating-Go Here to see the before.  We had our work cut out!

Look no loft!!! That was a job to get out. When my husband installed it he did a good job of using big bolts to secure it. Once it was out we patched the walls using a kit like this on Amazon. We decided to go with white walls, a nice blank slate. We have lots of plans to add color and pattern to her room.  One way we are doing that is updating her bedding, this picture shows her old bedding which is colorful but made her feel too kid like.

This wall will look much different in a few weeks. Stay tuned for something fun on this wall. We will also be updating that desk soon. And another surprise is coming to this wall involving pallets, and power tools=my fave!

Yep, another white wall. The window will have a window treatment on it soon. That dresser will be getting a small update soon, I’ll share that when I share a furniture flip for her headboard.

Lots of exciting things happening here for my teen girly I can’t wait to share all the details with you-big and small.
